How to add Facebook Like box to your blog / site

In order to put on your blog / website a Facebook Like Box you will need to follow some simple steps:

1. Get an API key or APP ID from Faceboo. If you don’t know how follow the steps from our article: Facebook How to create Apps in order to obtain an App ID (or API key).

2. Create a Facebook Page which will represent your blog/site. For this, you have to Login to your Facebook account and after that follow the link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php.
After you will create the Page, to switch between pages and your account, click on the top right arrow from the Facebook homepage:

3. Switch to the New Created Page, and Copy the address (Link) from the Browser

4. Go to Facebook Plugins to link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

5. Choose Like Box

6. At “Facebook Page URL” field, Paste the Link of your page.

7. After that all you have to do is to customize the Box.

8. Press “Get Code” and then copy both codes to a Notepad file

9. To display the Facebook box to your website, paste the entire code to the html code exactly where do you want to be shown.

For Blogger go to “Layout”, then “Add a Gadget” wherever you want to display the Box, choose “HTML/JavaScript” and paste the entire code. Save all modifications and everything should look as you want.
